About me
I am a graduate of the BACP accredited Diploma in Counselling course at Wealden College, and have been in practice since 2004.
I am an integrative therapist, with my core training in Person-Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. Since graduating I have also trained in and incorporated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (for phobias, fears, panic disorders and depression) and Filial Play coaching (to strengthen the relationship between parents and their children) as well as many other therapeutic skills.
From 2004-2010 I worked as a counsellor with a specialist organisation, supporting children and their families in a range of clinics and schools in Kent. As a senior practitioner I provided counselling to children, adolescents and adults, many with severe and complex difficulties.
In private practice I provide both short- and long-term counselling for individuals, couples, children and families. I also offer coaching in parenting skills for parents and carers of children and young people across the developmental stages.
My background in education and professional music gives me a wide range of experience and tools to work creatively with both adults and children.
